BALTIMORE — Coppin State University proudly marked the 20th Anniversary of its Senior Academic Achievement Awards, celebrating the institution's highest-achieving graduating seniors who exemplify academic excellence, determination, and purpose.

The Senior Academic Achievement Awards stand as one of Coppin's most distinguished student honors, recognizing exceptional scholars across all academic departments. These students represent the very best of Coppin, demonstrating not only outstanding academic performance, but also resilience, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to excellence that extends beyond the classroom.

This year's honorees, celebrated under the theme "Rooted in Purpose, Rising in Excellence," reflect the strength and promise of Coppin's student body. Through their academic journeys, they have remained grounded in purpose while rising to meet challenges, contributing to their disciplines, and preparing to make a meaningful impact in their communities and careers.

Celebrating Excellence in Community

Held as an elegant evening ceremony and dinner, the event brought together students, faculty, university leadership, and invited family members to honor these scholars in a setting that reflected the significance of their achievements. The ceremony highlighted not only individual success, but also the collective support of mentors, faculty, and families who played a vital role in each student's journey.
